Is it possible to change the search feature so that it recognizes important 3 letter words/acronyms such as "ERA"? Sometimes I get bored and lonely and wanna search random stuff on here. Is it also possible to increase the number of threads generated to more than 70 as well? FML. @)

Not without sacrificing site navigation speed as using the search function places a lot of strain on our servers and has the effect of slowing down routine site navigation. Bottom line - it is a trade off - site navigation speed vs the ability to search for short 3 or 4 letter keywords that may be contained in tens of thousands of posts. The same principle applies to only 70 responses to a search, another trade off.
I know coming up with a legitimate keywird can sometimes be difficult from personal experience. The key is perserverence, you have to keep trying and learn exactly how the advanced search feature works.
